We’d all love radiant, glowing looks, and infinite energy that propels us to achieve the impossible. To achieve this, we’d probably need to readjust our lifestyle and take a hard look at what we eat and look after ourselves. If you are concerned about your beauty, you’re concerned about your health.
Natural Foods are miracle cosmetics. If it’s good enough to eat, it’s good enough to use in you beauty regime. Use these few natural remedies to leave your skin always tingling.


Almonds: This super nut improves skin, hair, and nails. Almond oil applied on dull, dry, skin, adds luster.

Apples: A natural skin toner and vitamin rich, apples shrink pores and tighten and tone skin. They also lighten skin. Being acidic, apples are astringent on oily skins.

Bananas: Besides being nutritious to eat, bananas, used as masks are soothing and help prevent wrinkles. Mashed bananas with honey and cream, work wonders as masks for dry skin! For greasy, oily skins, blend them with a dash of orange juice.

Buttermilk: A fabulous cleanser, especially good for open pores. Also used as a bleaching agent.

Coconut water: when dabbed on face and left on for 30 minutes, cures acne.

Lentils: Powdered lentils make great scrubs.

Oats: An invigorating and softening skin scrub, oats contain Vitamin B and Calcium.

Onion: An antiseptic, onion is used in anti-wrinkle creams and is good for insomnia.

Potato: Rich in Vitamin C, it helps cure pigmentation and tones uneven skin, apart from tightening pores.

Pineapple: Rich in vitamin A, pineapple, mashed and on skin rejuvenates a dull complexion and removes dead cells.

Radish: Curbs formation of blackheads.

Sugar: An abrasive face scrub, great for cleaning and toning skin.

Tomato: Rich in vitamins, tomatoes are natural skins softeners. They reduce oiliness, shrink pores, lighten skin and tone complexion.

Tea: Soothes tired eyes and conditions hair. Use cool tea bags to cool and freshen eyes.

Watermelon: Helps to refine coarse skin. As a toner and a lightener, it improves skin condition.

Yogurt: Rich in protein, calcium, and vitamins, yogurt is used in facial masks for scaling, oily and dull skins. This dairy product contains bacteria, which keep the intestines clean, and calcium to clear blemished skin and calm troubled nerves. Yogurt makes an excellent hair conditioner.
